Privacy
This page covers the OnAPassage website and the OnAPassage app, both published by Freshcod3s LLC. It describes what they do today.
Last updated: October 14, 2026.
The website
- The pages are static files, the same for every visitor. There are no accounts and no ads.
- Two pages run a small script of ours: the state picker on the home page, and the search box and copy buttons on the research briefs page. Neither stores anything on your device. The picker loads the site's own data file and contacts no other site.
- The site's own code sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
- Traffic measurement is the request counts Cloudflare keeps at its edge. No analytics script runs in your browser.
- Cloudflare hosts the site. It processes each request to deliver the page, including the network address the request comes from, and it runs its own security checks. Those checks add a small script to each page that loads /cdn-cgi/challenge-platform/scripts/jsd/main.js, which is Cloudflare's bot detection. The check can set one cookie on onapassage.com, cf_clearance, which holds its result, as described on Cloudflare's JavaScript Detections page. It was the only cookie our browser check showed.
- We have turned off request logging for the site, so we keep no logs of requests ourselves.
- Links to sources open the agency's or legislature's own website, which has its own privacy policy.
Cloudflare's own policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
The app
- The app collects no personal data. It has no account, no ads, no analytics and no crash reporting.
- Your move checklist, your reminders and your light or dark setting stay on your device. They are deleted when you delete the app.
- Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. The app asks for permission to show notifications when you set one.
- The app downloads the public data file from onapassage.com when it opens and checks it for updates. The request carries nothing about you from the app, but like any internet request it reaches the site's host, Cloudflare, which sees the network address it comes from. The app keeps the latest copy of the file on your device.
- Source links open in your device's browser. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
